Explore Jaipur Restaurant Repton

If you ever find yourself wandering through the charming village of Repton, one place I’d immediately point you toward is Jaipur Restaurant Repton, a local favorite that has built a strong reputation for both its food and its atmosphere. Situated right on the High Street, the restaurant offers a warm, inviting setting that feels equally suited for a relaxed evening meal or a lively gathering with friends and family. What really stands out here is the consistency of the experience-from the moment you step in, the staff are attentive and genuinely friendly, creating a welcoming environment that makes guests feel at ease right away. We were staying in a local lodge on holiday , so took a punt on a takeaway from Jaipur. Collection. We ordered a number of mains (chicken malaya, madras, jalfrezi), sides, rice and naan. The food was superb. Very good quality with a depth of taste. Would recommend. Service was good and when we collected, the order was boxed up and was therefore easy to carry. Great experience, all round.

Very tasty food, not insanely hot, nice and quiet even though it's on a main road through Repton. Very friendly and attentive service. Would love to make this a regular dining spot for us!

My wife and I have just been to Jaipur for the 1st time.As we have moved from Birmingham we found indian restaurants & take aways locally a big disappointment. We have tried a number of places & yet to find 1 that gets to anywhere near the standard that we had become accustomed to, until now! We ordered a chicken pakora to share as our starters and we were certainly not disappointed with it the chicken was as tender as you could wish for the batter being very light & fluffy although the onion salad could be a little more plentiful the mango chutney was rich & mint dip had a little sharpness but absolutely lovely. For our mains I chose my usual chicken tikka pathia the sweetness &richness of flavour was just as it should be but not overly hot i in the past ask for the spice to be toned down a little but on this occasion i didn't bother, while my wife chose the butter chicken that was as smooth as silk with no spice just how she likes it with a vegetable pilau rice of which there could have been a little more & a peshwari naan that was so light & delicious it could easily be the highlight had it not been for the quality of the rest of the meal. The food was amazing as was the welcome by the service we received, if I could say an area to be improved upon it would be that the ladies & gents toilets were very cold but all in all a great experience. We will return with friends sometime soon. Thankyou to all at Jaipur
